Good evening Ladies and gentlemen. Hope your day has been better than the weather.

I have posted some new photographs I have been working on in my gallery. Found Hearts. I started this project with a nose bleed some years ago. It was a pretty standard nose bleed. Head back, tissue clinging to my nose soaking up the profuse amount of deep red blood. Blood being something I have always been fascinated by, once the flow stopped I unfolded the tissue and to my surprise little blood stained hearts littered my napkin. To this very day I still have it flattened out between covers on my bookshelf. Now I find them everywhere, heart shaped rocks, leaves, patches of grass. So the muse hunts me down.

I have been making a conscious effort to pick up my camera(s) again. I am even ordering some black and white film from B&H as we speak…. I shot a few photos with my digital today that I am hoping to get up sometime this week. I even got a new journal! Things are going good I hope they are for you too. Thanks for reading. :)

So here I am, brand new to this blogging sensation. Just two short hours ago I was blogless waiting for the sun to rise. My name is Kris and writing these first few words makes me feel a lot like I am in some recovery group. I suppose I am. Perhaps this is the best way to start. I have had a falling out with myself, not really had but have as this is a constant in my life. Recently my art has suffered due to my lack of enthusiasm in general. I am here to resurrect some sort of desire to write, sew, or photograph. This is my project. I dont feel much like giving an introduction of myself so I will cut this short until next time.
